This lovely, simply decorated chalet is located in the hamlet of Corte Vidreio, a 5-minute drive from Sta Catarina Fonte Bispo and a 35-minute drive from Faro airport. It is in a small vineyard, in a quiet, unspoiled area, ideal for a couple who enjoys the peace of a beautiful countryside.
The chalet has a private porch with views of the vineyard and garden with swimming pool. There are several patios and places to sit and relax, and a dining area with a BBQ for guest use.
The Portuguese farmhouse of the owners is nearby on the same plot, and they are available to answer all your questions. The chalet has its own access from the car park, with steps up to the door, so it is not suitable for people with mobility problems. The swimming pool and guest loungers are available to guests of the chalet as well as guests who stay in the farmhouse.
There are also sandy beaches nearby (20-25 min.), in Fuseta and Barrill, and excellent golf courses as well. The area is perfect for walking. Recommended places to visit at only a 20 minutes drive include the charming town of Tavira with its castle ruins and the large fishing port of Olha. The Nature Reserve Ria Formosa is also worth a visit.
