Ferring lies between a lake and a lighthouse.
This area is a well-known holiday house area, where are lots of possibilities for leisure activities.
In this area you can make walks on the beach, along the cliffs, go on hikes, make bicycle rides or go surfing.
Anglers also have lots of oppertunities to go fishing.
One of the most popular walking routes 'udsigtsruten' (the route of views) begins in Ferring, leads you along the edge of the cliff, past the lighthouse Bovbjerg Fyr, to the church of Trans and back along the beach.
The electricity meter is mostly placed outside the house. In recently built houses the electricity meter may be fitted with a grey metal flap. To read the meter lift the flap a little bit and open. Please note that in Denmark almost all electricity meters have no point - so all figures are whole kilowatt hours.
